Entrepreneurial Index: www.entrepreneurial-index.org
The Entrepreneurial Index starts with the belief that the well-spring of entrepreneurship in societies is found in self employed individuals who usually constitute 15-25 per cent of developed economies’ workforces.
The Entrepreneurial Index measures the impact of laws and regulations on the ability of individuals to be self-employed and hence entrepreneurial.
Developed in Australia by Ken Phillips of Independent Contractors Australia and in partnership with the Canadian Frontier Centre of Public Policy the Index allocates scores up to 100 to jurisdictions, enabling direct comparisons to be made. It identifies the best/worst jurisdictions for individuals to seek to be entrepreneurial.
